Wayfinding is a complex subject that involves many different fields of studies. My panel of experts will include professionals from a broad spectrum of disciplines. I’ve contacted specialists and professionals in graphic design, architecture, space planning, as well as personnel at our campus’s department of facilities and operation, capital planning, DAI faculty and DAI alumni.
So far I was able to confirm with 3 people, they are:
1. Joshua Singer, SFSU DAI professor and faculty member – Prof. Singer is also a graphic designer who has a special interest and experience in developing mapping and visualizing system.
2. Michael Duskus, graphic designer – Mr. Duskus has years of experience in both print and environmental graphic design. He is also a SFSU DAI alumni.
3. Edward Kim, architect – Mr. Kim is a project manager and designer at WRNS studio. He is currently working on the Skyline College Administration, Cosmetology and Classroom Building.
